bikeshare, solved

Every bike in the city. One map. Zero guessing.

Other apps stop at “here's a bikeshare station.” spinroute goes deep on the one thing you actually need to get moving — is there a bike, will there be a dock, and which operator's closest.

live now

Every bike, live on one map

Capital Bikeshare docks, Lime and Bird e-bikes, Spin scooters — every operator, one map, real counts. See the nearest open bike or dock before you head out the door.

Predictive availability

in the beta

Know before you go. spinroute learns each station's rhythm and tells you whether there'll be a bike — or an open dock — by the time you arrive.

Compare every operator

in the beta

One search, every brand. Grab the nearest bike — or the cheapest ride — instead of opening app after app to price it out.

every ride counts twice

The ride to work is the workout.

You're riding anyway. spinroute logs those miles — distance, pace, effort — and rolls them into your fitness week, syncing with Strava and Apple Health so it all lands in one place.

The commute isn't time away from training. It is the training — the bridge the mapping apps and the fitness apps both leave out.

the whole ride

Bikeshare is the front door.

We're building the one app that has your back for the whole ride — not a super-app of half-baked features, but the tools cyclists actually reach for, shipped one solid piece at a time through the beta.

Smart routing

in the beta

Bike, bike-plus-transit, or the quieter streets — ranked by what actually gets you there fastest, right now.

Garage & maintenance

in the beta

Track your bikes and their miles. Get a heads-up before the chain or brakes are due — not after.

Hazard alerts

in the beta

Road hazards from the riders ahead of you — potholes, glass, closures — surfaced on your route.

Safety & location share

in the beta

Share a live location with someone you trust, with arrival confirmation, on the rides that matter.

Rides & fitness sync

in the beta

Connect Strava, Apple Health, and Google Fit so every ride lands where you already track your week.

Your city, riding together

in the beta

Local leaderboards and a feed for the people who ride where you ride.

coverage

Every bike in your city, on one map.

We pull live availability from every operator we can reach, so you never guess which app has a bike nearby. We're opening city by city — starting where the coverage runs deepest.

5→1

Bikeshare, routing, transit, tracker, maintenance — five apps folded into one.

1 map

Every operator, wherever you ride, on one live map — no app-per-brand.

Every ride counts twice: get where you're going, and get fitter doing it.

faq

Questions, answered.

What works today, and what's coming?

Today: every operator's bikes on one live map, in the DMV. Rolling out through the beta — predictive availability, cross-operator compare, fitness sync, smart routing, maintenance tracking, hazard alerts, and safety sharing. Waitlist members get each the day it ships.

Which cities can I ride in?

We're opening city by city, starting in the DMV (DC–Maryland–Virginia) — where we aggregate the most operators. Los Angeles, the SF Bay Area, San Diego, Seattle, Dallas–Fort Worth, and New York are next. Join the waitlist and we'll email the day yours goes live.

Which operators show up on the map?

Every one we can reach. In the DMV that's Capital Bikeshare, Bird, Lime, Spin, Veo, and Hopp — all on one map with real dock counts and bikes-left, instead of five operator apps.

How's this different from Google Maps or Transit?

We don't compete on multimodal breadth. We go deep on bikes — every operator in your city, live and predicted availability, and the commute-to-fitness link they don't build. If bikes are how you get around, spinroute is built for you.

What does “every ride counts twice” mean?

The commute is also the workout. spinroute logs distance, pace, and effort from rides you already take and folds them into your fitness week — so getting somewhere and getting fitter stop competing for the same hour.

What does it cost?

Free to join the beta. We'll be straight with you about pricing well before anything changes — waitlist members hear first.

What happens to my data?

Your location and ride traces stay on our own infrastructure and are never sold. The waitlist takes only your email and city, and we email you once — when your city opens. The Privacy policy has the full picture.
